One day before the Pam's due date. Pam & Sam were getting nudgy, so we headed up to Santa Barbara about mid day for a walk along the water front. Did about 3 miles round trip (4 hours door to door). Went through Palm Park and took a few photos by the pond. Did the spectator thing at Skaters Park, and headed out to the pier. Rode the elevator a few times up and dwon to Long Boards restaurant, checked out the fish tanks, and helped ourselves to their peanuts.
Had some tourist take our picture. The last one was taken by Sam (a little crooked, but reasonably composed). Beautiful colorful day. Had a little rain in the morning, but cloudbase lifted and it cleared from the west. No wind initially, but the strong thermal activity in the mountains drew in the light white caps by the time we left. Plenty of flowers.
