The family pictures will be a bit slow to download.  I took them at a higher resolution so they would print well for framing.

Tess was one month old today, so I wanted to take some shots to mark her progress.  She is doing well.  In the norm for her age.

She is eating well, and pooping a bunch.  She spits up a constantly, fusses and cries frequently.  Sleeps a lot.  Likes her swing, and seems to sleep better sharing either mom or dads body heat.  She is looking more rounded and getting stronger.  Almost able to keep her head up.  We stopped by to see a friend (Terri Doughty) who delivered her full term baby girl (Paige) today (6/4), and Tess looks big next to the new born.  Our little girl is growing up!! JL

Mom is starting to pump, so dad has been able to do a couple of feedings, but it's 98% mom when the never ending request for more milk is announced.  Mostly about 2 to 2½ hours between feedings (cycle time / start to start / it takes about a half hour to feed), but we do get the occasional 3 to 4 hour stretch.  It's been good to be home and participate where I can.  Sam & Dad have been getting a lot of time together.  Productivity has almost come to a standstill.  It used to like having a home office, but now I need a place where I can stay focused.

Mom is doing well, but tired.  I don't know how moms handle more than one kid when dad is off at work, and the previous generation had armies of kids.  Of course, you didn't need a car seat for everyone under 7.

Sam loves having a baby sister and dotes over her.  He likes to hold her and is gentle.

We'll try to post again at 4 months and a year.
