Bike day at the Lou Grant Parent Child Workshop (LGPCW / Preschool).
The Echts and the Truaxes met for the trek to school. Sam and Gabby rode their bikes, and Meg peddled her rig with Hannah in the trailer. Danny pushed Hannah's 3 wheeler like a scooter, and Tom jogged.
Gabby was pretty good on the two wheeler without training wheels. Sam hadn't shown much interest, but bike day seemed to catch his attention. He dropped the training wheels a couple of weeks later. He's been riding his two wheeler to and from school ever since. Good exercise for dad, jogging along. About 2½ miles round trip.
The kids bring their bikes, scooter, or other moving contraptions. They decorate and ride up and down the service drive next to school.
