Sumner and I went down to the keys this past weekend to complete Sumner's scuba diving certification. We dove in Pennicamp just south of Ocean Reef. It brought back lots of memories, and was a nice connection of the past with the present.
We stayed with Pablo Mejia, who lives right off Old Cutler at 170 St.. Great fun. Dove Saturday afternoon (2 dives), and then again Sunday a.m. (2 dives). Then Saturday afternoon, Pablo and his son Gabby took Sumner and I out on his boat (which he keeps at his dad's place) for a spin over to Stiltsville and Key Biscayne. Wow, South Florida is pretty great.
We took a quick spin by 85th Street. Tom's trees, as Pablo calls them, are the highlight of the neighborhood and beautiful. Epiphany is building a massive structure, which may or may not be finished by April.
Anyway, I'll send a more complete note around later, but thought you might like to see the pictures below in the meantime that Pablo sent up to me this a.m.

Hello Terry
It was really great to see you and Sumner this weekend. Hope you had fun. Sumner is quite a great kid. He's got quite a good start at the future if he continues his musical career. I've emailed a few pictures and will burn on a cd the rest for you. Say hello to the family. Next time you are down we'll catch hundreds of lobster. They should be larger by then.
