Houston Trip.. April 7-14th..Byron and I flew to Houston on the 7th of April from Tampa.. Mary and Anne met us around nine p.m. when plane arrived and we went back to the "APARTMENT". Bob Frappier (Frap's Dad) arrived the same day.. they left for Augusta and Masters Golf Tournament on Wed. a.m. and returned on Friday late evening.
The History Museum had a terrific exhibit "The Vatican Exhibit" that Bob, Byron, Mary and I saw in on Tuesday. On Wednesday Mary and I had a "pedicure" and lunch and on Thursday went to school and had lunch with each of the kids.. lots of fun to meet their teachers and watch all the activities at St. Vincent's. Friday eve Mary had plans for baseball fundraiser.. Beckett was spending the night out.. so Anne and I had some Grandmother time which we both enjoyed. Saturday the boys were home and we were off to Anne's softball game.. Sunday Beckett had a game (had one Thursday p.m. also).. so I got to do lots of kids things which I love.
Bob left on Sunday a.m to return home .. we went to brunch. Anne was bound and determined to ride the two wheeler.. catch the last photo. We walked down to a friends house who rode the scooter.. Anne on the bike with Mary running beside her.. She took off.. and after we left her little friend off someone had to ride the scooter home. I was elected because Mary needed to run beside Anne.. however she did great. Notice from the picture the "proud as a peacock .. I can do it look". Reminded me of you, Tom when you learned to ride your two wheeler .. you spent the whole day riding up and down 85th St. I did VERY WELL ON THE SCOOTER.. It was fun.!!!! Pictures taken in front yard.
We left Monday a.m.. flew back to Tampa and arrived home in time for a bite to eat.. Had a really great time. Dad still relishing seeing the Masters Golf Tourney.!!!
