Byron & Mary Anne's trip to Carpinteria

To visit their newest grandchild Tess Nicole

A good time of year to get out of Florida.  The weather in Carpinteria was nice.  Low to mid 70s during the day, and the mid 60s at night.  Mom & Dad flew into SBA to spend a week with Tom's family.  They stayed in the converted garage guest apartment at Sharon Sweeney's house.  Sharon is a paraglider pilot who lives at the beach, so they were only about a hundred yards from the Pacific surf.

We had a good visit.  Didn't do a lot of activities, but did get in a fair amount of quality interaction.  Mom & Dad took Sam for a day, and also did baby sitting duty so Tom & Pam could get a night out.

Not posted till Sept 2004, so recollection is a little fuzzy
