DIRECTIONS FROM INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT

• Exit terminal following airport exit signs which direct you to Hwy 45, Hardy Toll Rd and Beltway 8 West. Airport’s exit becomes JFK Boulevard.
   
• Continue on John F Kennedy Blvd (about 3mi.) to Beltway 8 West ramp.  You take a right onto Beltway 8 and Sam Houston Parkway West.
   
• Take Beltway 8 West about 4-6 miles to Sam Houston Toll way.  Stay on left side of Beltway 8 to enter the toll way.  Beltway 8 will then run parallel to the toll way.  It costs $1.25 per segment of toll way to use it.  Correct change is faster.  I think there are two pass throughs. Travel 11-12 miles to Hwy 290 West.
   
• Merge onto Highway 290 W toward Hempsted or Austin.
   
• Take Highway 290 W to Hempstead (abt 36mi).  In Hempstead take the Bryan/College Station/Hwy 6 exit to the right.  Go left under the overpass toward Hempstead Business District.  Follow 159W around through Hempstead following signs for 159W and Bellville. (turns right at light and then left at blinking light).
   
• Take 159 West through Bellville (abt 16 mi). At the courthouse, go around 180 degrees and exit 159 West/36 North.
   
• About a ½ mile out of courthouse the road splits.  36 N goes straight and 159 W (left) towards Industry and La Grange.  Go left on 159 W.  Go past Nelsonville on Hwy 159W (about 8 miles from Bellville courthouse).
   
• Cross a creek about 4 miles from Nelsonville) and up on your left is Krause Road.  (There is a large white sign that says “ Star Hill Ranch”.)  Turn left.
   
• Go to the “T” in road and turn left on New Bremen Road.
   
• Go 3 tenths of a mile and easement (dirt) road entrance is on left.  There is a sign that says, “Rocking Hill Ranch, Star Hill Farm and Yancey Ranch”.  Turn left.  Go about 6 tenths of a mile and our house is on left.  It is a yellow farmhouse.
